She is a pretty awesome character, and you captured her beautifully here. She's in the new Capcom vs Marvel game. Hubby loves playing with her. At the end if you use her to beat Galactus her encounter with Wolverine is hilarious. It seems she leaves the boss lying in Wolverine's yard, and he walks out in a towel brushing his teeth. I nearly died laughing.

Well I'm entirely self-taught with this stuff so my technique's probably TOTALLY backwards ...
... on the flats, I use the colour selection tool to select the black lines, then invert and fill in by hand with my tablet/pen, just like I used to with markers back when I did trad art. Then I tighten up the lineart on a seperate file, copy it and then paste it over the flats. After that I use the colour selection too again and just attack individual sections one at a time, first off with "cell-shading" (layered shadows applied with the pencil tool), then blended with the airbrush, and the airbrush gets used in highlights too. The background usually starts off as just a solid blank field of colour and then gets selected last, and then I just detail it all in one go with the airbrush. It used to take a fair chunk of time to finish an individual piece, and it's still not quick, but I'm getting pretty good at speeding through this stuff now. But, like I said, it's probably COMPLETELY the wrong way to go about it. It's just the way I'M comfortable with doing it ...
That said, I do keep meaning to do a tutorial of sorts showing how I do it ... I think if I ever did I might call it "The Stubborn Ignorant Amateur Colourist's Technique for Comic Book Colours in Gimp" ...
