I really should've gotten a reference for tears, but I didn't think of it at all during the three weeks I worked on it (I had a lot going on, and my mind makes it impossible to keep track of things). Oh well, lesson learned.

Shading and detail is nice. My only complaint is that the tear should flow more with the contour of the face. That way it'll look more natural. Overall, good job.

But seriously, I've been there. I understand what you mean far more than you know. Perhaps later down the road you'll want to tackle that tear again? More experience and time away from the drawing will help. It always helps me.

Or, *cough* he could be mourning the fact that the NEW love of his life will have to find another because he has less than ayear to live, and as any woman (or man, for the sake of ME3) is concerned, your partner hacking up lung fluids and wheezing is generally considered a turn-off. I worked on that tear so many times! I could never be 100% happy with it. So, I forced my family to restrain me with nylon ropes if I tried to redo it, again. :/
