I can't help wondering how those fingers would smell
Perhaps the fingernails should be more yellowish? ^^ They look too "new" to me.

The nails are amazing. As for the photograph, it looks really great. The focus on the fingernails, that I will say [again] look WONDERFUL, really brings out the 'sickness' of the photo.
The detail on the hair/fibers - being able to see them - is also a plus.
However, if I were you, I would go into PS or another high-end photo editing program and adjust the levels & hue. There's a wide range of really dark & really light, so make it a bit less extreme. As for the hue, bring it up a bit - let's see that blood & pus. xD
