Xenogears fanart. OOLD Xenogears fanart! This is at least 2 years old, but I never bothered posting it here. Why? I dunno. I was into Naruto then, and I guess I figured if I posted it no one would give a rat's ass about it because it wasn't Naruto. Now here I am obsessed with Tales of the Abyss and haven't made a Naruto art in like 2 months XD hah! Well I loved Xenogears with a passion, and I talked with recently who loved it as well which made me finally decide to share this with everyone. Her name is Emerelda and she is my favorite character to draw (second favorite character in game) it's one of my rare colored pencil worksthis is titled June mermaid because that's the name of her theme music. (though I've seen it called september mermaid too. make up your mind on the month you want, dammit!) I have the Xenogears Creid album, which is arranged music and songs, and it has a gorgeous celtic pipe sounding version of her music. I love listening to it... it's really calming. There's also a cutesy vocal version of ChuChu's theme...but that's another story

Very pretty colors. I especially like the skin (because I think it's always the hardest part.) Cute clothes too. Are those cannon or original. I didn't even realise that this was the same person as the old line art. Very gorgeous.

I love how bright her hair is, the colours look so vivid. You really did the highlights fantasticlly :3 The shading on her top is nice, too. I like how it has a little gradient to it.

I love all the colours you used in her. She's really gorgeous and I totally agree that she seems more like a June mermaid over a September. She just comes off being more summerie to me then autumn. Great work I'm really glad that you posted her

I absolutely adore that outfit on Emeralda. =3 And such wonderful coloring. I love vibrancy when its done well and without redundancy. Great job overall, even for old work. ;3
