Once, summer reigned.

Warmth fed all those whose intentions were bright and sacred.

Though steadily each day shortened,
Sun took away the breath of them teasingly
Made hearts grow cold and fierce.

In desperate attempt we tried to guard what was precious to us
But yon who lost faith in the sun suffered alone horribly, and felt themselves abandoned in the graceless cold of winter.
Blindly, urged by hatred they summoned their creature of sorrow.

Its frozen soul should embody their grief and admonish all those, who once denied their cravings, selfishly enjoyed the blessings of love and wealth instead of aiding yon who weren’t able to do so.

They were heard
And answered with raging decay.

Frozen flames of ice penetrated every being
and wiped out their precious flame of life
Nobody nor anything was spared.

…. Look what is left now
Cities, dreams, hearts ….. solidified in piercing, lifeless ice
Made of stunning beauty,
Made of death.

Was it worth it ?

„Die Geister die ich rief, werd ich nicht mehr los.“
