Hi everybody, Guyverman here with my first real deviation in years! For this momentous occasion, I have decided to do my own spin on none other than one of Japan’s greatest pop-culture cornerstones, Ultraman! In case you’re wondering why, because as of the time I’m posting this, it just so happens to be the Ultra-guy’s 55th anniversary!

I have to say that doing this takes off a ton of pressure since I've been wanting to do a piece like this for years. For the design itself, I did NOT want to make him resemble Ironman, something a little too common when various artists attempt to do their own spin on the character. What I aimed for is a look that manages to balance out weird and alien, with noble and heroic at the same time. I believe I have succeeded in that regard.
