Wow! Beautiful atmosphere and colors. I love this picture! The red glows on the eyes stand out really nice on the squid creature and make him the focal point very nicely; so he’s not lost in all the green. And the ripple effects are really good although they get a little sloppy near the end on the left tentacles... the best part is right behind his head. What makes it really stand out though is all the attention to detail in the grass and that very subtle light beam that’s striking the sky and making a shine on his slimy surface. I really love that. Is there any story behind this scene? Or was it just inspired by the quote? Either way, it’s really swell!
