OK, so she's not Ladena any more. But you know who I mean. Her new account is , and she let me color this.
(Thank you!) [link] I had SO MUCH FUN coloring this. I went to Art Night tonight determined to just color something I could knock out relatively quickly and comparatively stress-free. I needed to not worry about anything for a bit, and do something because I just by-Primus wanted to do it.
FUN.
You shoulda seen me when I first discovered that juicy red colored pencil in the shadows. I did the full-on hands-over-mouth "OOOOOHH!!"
And yes, I talked to Galvs about how he's not quite as smex as he thinks he is... But yeah, he's kinda the mech here, isn't he?
Grapple was like, "What does that... mean, exactly? Is it... OK to say?"
Much gratitude. It was SO NICE to actually have FUN doing art! I've been having a lot of emotional drama for a long time, but tonight was just happy.
I like the way this turned out. I LOVE COLORING SKETCHES!!! It's not deathless art, but it's happy.
Yes, Galvs, you're smex. But only because Ladena draws EVERYONE smex. Yes, she did extra mechlihood on you this time. You win. Here, have a smooch.

This is a remarkably sane looking Galvy. I guess Ladena caught him at juuust the right moment. I like the tasty purple very much. And his belly is very nice and rosy. I'm so glad you had fun with him.

Haha,at first I was like 'oh, just Galvs' but then I put it to full veiw and saw his face. lol. I fell in love X3 I only have one picture for Transformers that I'm proud of and it's no where near this good :/ LOL, great job! I now <3 glavs

It's quite different from your usual style with those extra dark, rich shadows, but I like it!

Actually, this is markers with colored pencil skritches over the top of them...
The main reason I love coloring sketches is that it frees me to use a much looser coloring style, and it's just a lot of fun. There are no such things as mess-ups this way.

It's funny, I say I don't like Galvatron. But I actually do, quite a bit. Not sure why I insist otherwise, but oh well. He's a really cool character, at least in TFTM and in IDW where they finally let him be his own mech.

Well, I know a lot of people hate on Galvatron because of the whole insanity bit, and/or because he "replaced" Megatron. I wasn't so sure about him at first either. But it's funny, once I started to get to know the guy, I grew to like him. Him and Cyclonus, who despite the bunny ears is an extremely fascinating character...
