Description
Sweet little hand dyed star-shaped flowers I made using tsumami kanzashi techniques.It turned out I had made/dyed too many purple petals for some orders, so I put them together in these little whimsical shapes. I think I need to make this design in a few more colors-- turned out cute.
Do you think it looks more like "Blue Star Amsonia" (aka dog bane) or an orchid?

Not so sure about flower types, but I love the dye. It's a nice design, and the colors you chose to put together are very nice. I think it's like...a painting, actually. And it reminds me of something you'd see in a fairy-tale book.

I think it looks little more like the star flow than an orchid, usually orchids are more of a warm toned purple than the cool toned blue colors here. But your dye jobs are so lovely as usual. you work magic with these little silk squares.
