This handmade hair ornament is for the new year-- the year of the dragon, 2012. ( 辰年)

I like the way it's done! What is the head made of?

The head is hand-sculpted out of paper clay, and finished with acrylic and a sealer.

He looks awesome. I really like the color gradations on the "scales". It'd also be cool if you could make a phoenix to go with him ^______^

Phoenix~ I've not gotten around to making another of those since I made my first birds...but yeah, that'd be pretty awesome. ^_^ I think a phoenix would also be good with gradation.
