i tried for 2 hours and my dad yelled at me cause hes like WTF are you getting so.. i just got Gimp but it froze on me so all my work was for nothing.

yeah, thats gimps problem, uh want me to look for something? (also gimp is mainly for photo editing, not really drawing heh) you could try photoshop, which i could probably find a link to for you to get it for free

My bamboo tablet came with adobe photo shop 0.8 i think so i tried installng it but didnt work so the best system i have is Sumo.. <.< and it works just like Sai but with the layer.

MAC OS INSTRUCTIONS
1.Download the last version of GPS From the google code page:

To install Gimp Paint Studio, first we must know where the user directory of Gimp is located. Usually this is a hidden folder.Assuming you have installed Gimp version 2.6.x (where x can be 10, 11 or later...) is usually found at:
MacOS : /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Gimp
Start the fun part! you should back up the original files in case you wish to restore originals
3. Copy the contents of the brushes directory to the folder with the same name in the Gimp directory.(/.gimp-2.6/brushes)
4. Copy the contents of the patterns directory to the folder with the same name in the Gimp directory.(/.gimp-2.6/patterns)
5. Copy the contents of the gradients directory to the folder with the same name in the Gimp directory.(/.gimp-2.6/gradients)
6. Copy the contents of the palettes directory to the folder with the same name in the Gimp directory.(/.gimp-2.6/palettes)
7. Copy the contents of the tool-options directory to the folder with the same name in the Gimp directory.(/.gimp-2.6/tool-options)
8. If you want to add some tools to the Toolbox then copy the toolrc file to the Gimp directory.(/.gimp-2.6) This file will add icons for the new tools in the Toolbox. You should make a copy of this file in case you later want to restore.
9. Do the same with the file sessionrc if you want to modify the GPS position and rearrange the windows on the Gimp's screen. Copy the file sessionrc to the Gimp directory.(/.gimp-2.6). This will change the layout of GIMP's windows.You should make a copy of this file in case you later want to restore. Start Gimp.
10. The next step is optional but will improve the overall usability of the user interface.
Edit->Preferences->Toolbox Activate the three ticks available there.
Edit->Preferences->Tool Options On this page, under the Paint Options Shared Between Tools, disable the three options (Brush, Pattern, and Gradient).
Edit->Preferences->Image Windows/Mouse Pointers Disable the βShow brush outlineβ option and make sure you have βcheckedβ or enabled the βShow pointer for paint toolsβ.This will increase the speed of brushes when you are painting.
That's all. Enjoy it, this is the most important step!

Download and install this first, [link] so you computer can extract the program
then download this

then when it finishes downloading open the file and there should be a folder in the program, just drag it to your desktop BUT YOU HAVE TO LEAVE IT IN THE FOLDER!!
then when it is on your desktop open the folder and click on portable sai and the program should start up

o.o wut? i never had that error 0.0 if you cant save you might want to try to press both the ctrl and print screen buttons and it will take a screen shot, then open paint (like the one that comes with the computer) then paste using ctrl and v then crop to to the part of the pic u want and then save it
