I was not so enthousiastic about the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 announce, but it made me wanna finish an old drawing started one year and a half ago. So here we go with Ryu and dragon sword, Ayane and her twin Wakizashi and Momiji with her odd Naginata.

At first there were only Ryu and Ayane on the pic, I added Momiji recentely (given she did not exist yet at the moment of my first sketch). I did not feel like changing Ayane's costume to her NGS2 one that I don't like at all. She looks too much slutty. And her boobs' size has increased horribly! It is as if she has been influenced by Sonia or Rachel!
I don't get why she should wear such an outfit because she gets more important in the game. I liked her first NG costume which fits well at Ryu's side. Plus Ayane is supposed to be discreet since she spies a lot. But this costume is anything but discreet. However Momiji looks decent.
For both of them, I think that it was really stupid to add great heels to their shoes.

I'm happy Ayane et Momiji are the new playable characters and not Sonia. At least a good thing. And Marbus is back, that's awesome XD!
But I'm so angry that this is only for PS3 players. With the new boss and new weapons, it makes me think that NG2 has been released too much soon, it would also have deserved to have these features. Nevertheless, it shows that Ninja Gaiden will go on and that's the important!

About the drawing, I did not want to make Ayane look so young, but it was not so egregious ont the lineart. It is crazy to see how much difference can appear between lineart and final piece coloured. I'm pretty much deceived. Have a look at the sketch version which is way much better for Ayane: [link]
When I draw Momiji I really thought I was drawing my character representing myself, they so much look alike ^^'
