Actually neither my parents nor I were born in Edmonton. >_>
BUT IT'S STILL MY HOMETOWN. I GREW UP THERE AND I GO THERE MORE THAN ANYWHERE ELSE ANYWAY. ALSO CALGARY FAILS AT LIFE I mean um ahem.

On the left is the glorious City of Edmonton. When it's one of the four months of the year that isn't winter, he wears a tie instead of a scarf because he's much more respectable than his younger and more obnoxious brother Calgary who also wears a tie but shut up he's less respectable. He also thinks Calgary is a wimp because his stupid chinooks help him cheat winter. And you can't cheat winter and be a respectable person. Oh, and Edmonton's hockey team used to be really really good back in the 80's. Honest.

On the right is the not so amazing City of Calgary, which is actually not the capital of Alberta and never has been. He ALMOST was, which is why he's so jealous of Edmonton for stealing the role. Because he's so envious of our refined culture and lovely weather , he builds really obnoxious buildings and spends a lot of his dirty dirty oil moneys on himself (Not to say that Edmonton doesn't ) Because he overshadows pretty much all of Alberta with his obnoxiousness, tourists only seem to have nice things to say about him.
Did we mention he taught Stephen Harper everything he knew about true evil?

I'm going to stop talking before a Calgarian hits me in the face.
Honestly, if you grew up in Edmonton you'd know we can't help taking shots at Calgary because we're obviously not as fun. You know you think of us as one giant wet-blanket-on-a-stick-in-the-mud.

Just wait until I start going to the U of A and have to start hating the U of Calgary too.
