"Em Hotep" is a short Egyptian greeting that essentially means "in peace". "Khaire" is the Greek equivalent, literally meaning "rejoice".
Aneb-Hetch basically means "White Walls" and is a Nome (like a province) in Egypt.

Technically Attica represents the poor farmland around Athens, so she's a country girl at heart (Her life has gotten a little easier recently, however, since most grain was being imported around this time.)
