It seems that Aneb-Hetch, or Egyptian woman, is more independent than I used to think. Compare to that Mr. Athens you are totally a jerk 0 0
"Aneb-Hetch is trying very hard not to offend the people of the country she is visiting." That makes me start wondering more about her personality XD
Laconia looks like Attica's babysitter when she helps her to put on the coat 0w0! Another self-satisfied jerk appears pride must be the general personality of all the strong nations.

It's true! Egyptian women were often at very high statuses. On the other hand, even though most Greek city-states were tough on women, many of them thought that Athens was unnecessarily strict.
This is only half of her personality, of course. Like most Egyptians she is much more lively and happy at home. XD;;
Hahaha, I guess she is her babysitter to a degree. XDDD

Scribe I think was one of them, but I'll have to double check. Pharaoh however was not off-limits to women, but since the god Horus was a man it was preferred that the pharaoh also be a man since the pharaoh was considered to be the vessel of Horus.

Oh I see why was that (or I guess since you aren't sure). Oh I see interesting which god was Horus again? (I'm sorry for being so oblivious)

Dunno, but I'll look into it. Horus was the falcon headed god of kings, and the son of Isis and Osiris. He was born to defeat Set and was generally a little snot personality-wise.

Some people believe that Horus was the god of Lower Egypt, and Set the god of Upper Egypt. Historically, Lower Egypt (the north where the Nile empties into the ocean) conquered Upper Egypt and started the rule of the pharaohs, so that's probably why.

Don't have a clue where he's from, I just know that he unified the two kingdoms. Let me look...
Aha, he was. In that case... the myth doesn't match up. Oops. XD;
It must be connected somehow- there is definitely a lot of iconography related to Horus and Set as equals for a bit afterwards.
...Okay good, it's not just me. There is a historical discrepancy. Some people believe that both gods were worshiped in Upper Egypt and that there was an internal struggle between them there first, so the myth might be closer to that than unification. I'm no Egyptologist unfortunately. XD;
