No idea where the idea came from but I had surprisingly much fun with it.NO MALE VERSION. Just please don't even mention it. And I'd really appreciate if you could concentrate on what is in the dress up instead of asking/pointing out/"just saying" etc what is not or what should/could/might be added etc. If something is missing it's most likely because I didn't care enough; there are way too many Disney females for me to draw all of them (or everything they've ever worn) so I had to pick some and leave the others out.
Also, I don't take requests, suggestions or any other form of inquiries for free art either etc etc. F.A.Q. here .

I'm so happy you put Charlotte la Bouff in it she's my absolute favorite! Β I also really like that there's two different versions of the princesses on some of them (Anna, Merida, and Ariel)

Out of the characters in the Disney Princess franchise, Mulan hands down. Out of the actual princesses... I'd say Merida.

Badassness doesn't have a lot to do with it (or I guess it's a plus but not a major factor). I like their character designs and development, and role in the movie, and the lack of annoying sidekicks. And in general I don't care much about romance stories, so character development completely unrelated to finding True Love is always more interesting to me.
Also it's somewhat of a result of a process of elimination since the other princesses have varying levels of stuff I dislike about them. Not that Mulan and Merida were perfect either, but I still have less problem with them than with the others.

You have unlocked the entire Disney Princess rant!
(I do like a lot of stuff about these characters, this is just what I don't like about them)
Snow - Too passive, doesn't get enough chance to affect what happens in the story.
Cinderella - Her too.
Aurora - Could be replaced with a pumpkin and nothing about the plot would change.
Ariel - 2nd least favourite, messes things up for everyone, does little to fix it, her apology turned into making excuses and shifting the blame elsewhere in seconds, and the story just conveniently accommodates her without her having to learn much anything.
Belle - Least favourite. Could be almost likable, but the way she is put on a pedestal while everyone else only exists to be uglier and stupider than her makes her super unbearable for me. Doesn't really need to learn or change since she's amazing from the beginning.Β
Jasmine - 3rd least favourite. Speaks big how she's not a prize, but that's kind of what she ends up being in the narrative anyway. Becomes disappointingly passive as the story goes on. Doesn't seem to fit her culture at all.
Pocahontas - She's alright, though it feels like she's limited because of trying to be as inoffensive as possible, like she doesn't have that many flaws.Β
Tiana - She's ok too, but also feels like a victim of the writers having to walk on eggshells. Also bogged down by her movie being kind of a mess.
Rapunzel - Also likable, but kind of vanilla. Like she feels like a super safe character that's designed not to offend feminists but still sell a lot of princess merch. Also I like it more when characters aren't just innocent victims of undeniably evil people, but instead create their own messes.
And while they're not a part of the Disney Princess franchise...
Anna - Not a fan of the bubbly clumsy awkward personality. Also if a character's core problem is loneliness I except the movie to give me a reason why she doesn't try to make friends.
Elsa - Her ice powers are all over the place. And so is her story, like one minute it's LET IT GOOOO, but we never really get to see her new confident personality since the next time we see her it's back to "go away Anna I'm dangerous".
Moana - We've seen the "others want me to do X, but I'll follow my heart and do Y instead!" plot quite many times by now. But not much to complain about really.

I like Gothel and Rapunzel's relationship too. I just wish it had been explored more, like we don't really get a good look at how Rapunzel feels when the person she so far had presumed to care about her all her life (and actually the only person she had ever even known aside from the past day or two) dies. But I guess that'd be a whole other story.
