Here's the thing about Beatrix..she's the best cat ever. She greets me when I walk in the door, she will ALWAYS come when I call her, she has to sleep near me, she loves people, she always has that curious look on her face, and she MUST drink my cereal milk. Oh, also, instead of meowing, she makes a very strange little purr noise that usually sounds like a question. It's really weird. She CAN meow, but she chooses to speak in a purr voice.

She's so damn adorable. I would take a bullet for her. I could also make a thousand comics about how funny and cute she is.

Comics about cats=instant win! Have you guys read "Realfield"? It's just old Garfield comics with a realistic cat replacing Garfield and no text for him..it's really awesome. And probably what I based this comic on. Look it up on google.

Thanks! Haha, I know..I've seen Garfield minus Garfield, too..which is kinda funny. But I really love Realfield for some reason. XD I guess the comic is just too easy to make fun of and rearrange. It does have a very specific formula.

I don't mind legitimate parodies, but I do find replacing him (or taking him out) is rather lazy... It's like taking a Batman comic and replacing every "Bat" with "Butt", it may be hilarious or not, but it's not very creative...

I think just about everybody has done at least a one Garfield parody, I've even seen an "official" make a Garfield parody meme on LJ with many webcartoonists taking place in it! :3

Thanks Missy! For each one of these comics, I just pick a bold color for the background then gently paint over it so the background color is still prominent. Apparently I like everything to be monotone. It's like some weird obsessive compulsive habit of mine.
