This is lovely! I love organic pieces!
I have only done sand casts myself, and want to try cuttlefish!
Can you use the mold several times or is it lost?

I am the opposite, have only done cuttlefish casting and would love to try sand one day.
Using the cuttlefish for a second casting is possible with extreme care but the burnt design looses definition.
I use a back-plate for most castings if a flat back to the work is suitable. Saves on cuttlefish and produces a smoother finish. Here is a picture for you. [link] of a jellyfish.
