After talking to the amazing lovelyladygray.deviantart.com/ about her wonderful work with Egypt and Gargoyles I decided to spin my own version*side note* Most Pharaohs took this pose with their right arm over left, but one of my little nods to myself and my left handedness is put the left arm over the right.....just incase someone who's who's up on their history catches that

Cheers! I've always loved ancient Egypt, and have made 7 gargoyle clans that are from ancient Egypt that have survived to the modern-day era. Perhaps a name that is related to Horus as he protected the Pharaoh?

Funny that you say that. I always lumped Gargoyle faces into three categories. Human'esque faces, beaked faces, and this one that's kinda' in between. I always felt it looked a bit like a cat, and thought it perfect for a culture that worshipped cats. Thanks for the kind words. Cheers

Very true, and except for Griff, I was never a big fan of the other two designs from that episode. Not the concept, but just the designs. I felt like they were really weak. Still a GREAT episode though

Finally! A Gargoyles OC that doesn't look like Barbie's Ken colored light blue or purple, and left-handed, to boot (I'm right-handed myself, but I'd like to see more left-handed protagonists, not just villains). Friendly suggestion, feel free to ignore it: why not give this guy Afro-textured hair, since he's Egyptian? BTW, does he have a name?

My deepest thanks for you kind words, I really appreciate it. When I do Egyptian themed pieces I usually grab a name, and I was doing research while I winding down the colors. Still haven't come up with one because I like to try and use phonetically accurate names with respect to history
