Personality: Kendra is a flirtatious and out going young woman who hides a lot of hurt and insecurity under her friendly attitude. She tends to be clingy when she makes friends and takes offense easily to being teased. She's a compulsive buyer of expensive clothing and spends whole paychecks on
unnecessary luxuries.

History: Kendra, Born Jennifer Spivey was just a regular girl born and raised in New Jersey. Her family did their best to raise their daughter as normally as possible striving for a good life. Jennifer was just an average girl through out kindergarten, elementary school and middle school. Upon entry to Highschool she decided she wanted to stand out. After a lot of work she began dating the star BasketBall player in her school, during the sports season she would attend each event and cheer him on trying to be as supportive and friendly as possible.
On Jennifer's Junior year she and her Boyfriend were driving home, he pulled off to the side of the road and the two got out of the car to watch a meteor shower. He began to make a move on her and she felt uncomfortable and ran away from the car, him chasing after her.
The two ran into a clearing where they found one of the space rocks. Jennifer who had lost interest in running after finding such an interesting thing picked it up. The strange silver rock was covered in a gold liquid that moved as if it had a life of it's own, it snaked up her arm causing her to drop the rock, screaming franticly, she tried to shake the liquid from her self. Her boyfriend hearing her screams panicked and returned to his car driving away quickly leaving the girl alone. Kendra who blacked out awoke the next afternoon and returned home, shaken and unable to explain what happened.
Over the next few weeks things went down hill for Jennifer. Her boyfriend dumped her and all of her so called friends left her. In a pit of juvenile depression the girl decided to kill her self, she went home that night with the intent to cut her wrists. When she placed the razor blade to her skin she was alarmed that it was met by rushing gold liquid to cover the place nearly being cut. She was also alarmed to hear a soft female voice begging her stop, that they shared this body. Jennifer who was scared senseless began to ask the voice who it was and why it was in her body. Learning that she had inherited a symbiot from the meteor shower she gave up on killing her self and decided to make a deal with the Symbiot who called her self Devastation. That Devastation could control her body if would promise to get back at her boyfriend for what he had done. Devastation who took on the name Kendra Roberts when controlling the girl pretended to seduced the star player and childishly made a laughing stock of him in front of his friends continually. Jennifer who was pleased with this outcome decided that Devastation was a better friend that most humans.
Little did she know that her school councilors and parents were worried about her speaking to her self, and the way she carried on after school when people spotted her going from party to party or catching the late buss into New York. When her family finally decided to bring there worries to her attention the state decided to institutionalize the girl who they thought was insane. Scared and feeling abandoned Jennifer took on the named used by Devistation and ran away before she was taken to the hospital to be committed. While on the run she learned of the Super Human Initiative Program and decided it would be best if she started over as Kendra and used her new found friends powers for good.
