Hey everyone! Here's my entry for the Pacific Rim: Uprising art contest woo!This battle takes place along the Gold Coast of Australia where I live and my Jaeger is called Tropic Thunder. We get all sorts of cyclones and rough weather down here, so I wanted to incorporate that into his design.
With the ability to conjure thunder storms and harness their power, Tropic Thunder can unleash the full fury of the gods onto any Kaiju menace with a supercharged punch!
TLDR: A knuckle sandwich kissed and delivered from mother-nature with 15 tons of steel

This is probably my favorite up until now since the picture displays the Jaeger actually doing something, the action is clear and the composition is very well made. The colors of the entities contrast very well one another.
Also, godspeed for actually making the jaeger feel heavy. Heavy hitters have always been my favorites. To wrap up, glad to see that you didn't over-render the piece, and kept the oily painterish texture to it. Hope you win a decent place in the contest.
