March is supposed to come in like a Lion and go out like a Lamb, but these recent years the winter weather is all pretty random and strange. What with Derpy Day 2018 coming on the first of the month, I like to think that's because a certain cross-eyed pegasus drew the weather assignment, and she just doesn't know what went wrong. (It's a much more charming and less depressing explanation than the scientific consensus.)Just a simple image to celebrate that fan-favorite of background mares on her special day! I love the progression of this character on the show and how she came to be... I still take her every appearance as an affectionate nod to the fandom, and I always enjoy seeing her pop up in the merchandising as well.

We ended February on a high note (+15 C here in town, we were the warmest in all of Canada!! 6_9 and set a new local record of course) and started March off with snow, thankfully not as crazy huge dumping as what they said it might be. Today, is.. Warmer +3 so it's all melted already

I think this is THE single most adorable picture of Derpy that I've ever seen. It's her expression in particular that makes it, I think; though the whole picture really carries the effect.
