Backstory: The world was never truly at peace before Dell's deception. A constant state of war loomed over the entire world, and strife stood at every turn. At the turn of the century, Ryth Mechanics was established using military funding to support the armed forces with special weaponry and custom machines designed for battle. Things began slow, but over time, new concepts for machines were developed, and computer programming became a prime focus of their efforts. As the years passed, Ryth Mechanics worked on countless droids to aid the crumbling world around them. From basic warehouse droids, to full mech battle suits; if it could benefit the world, it was brought to life. However, Ryth was not entirely controlled by the spearheads of war; they had their own stake in personal matters and did whatever was necessary for their own sake. Big business needs more business. Mari-Alpha* was made as a test to see how well their programmers could create lifelike artificial intelligence, and it was a rousing success. Despite the clearly cold robotic shell, her mind was just as human as anyone else. The world was amazed with such a technological advancement and it only made sense to create another. This time, with the government's interest, Mari-Beta** was built using better, stronger technology, and even weaponised limbs. Ryth Mechanics hit booming success with their new Mari line and became a household name. Mari-Alpha and Beta formed a team, quickly bonding as sisters. As the wars progressed, Ryth sent Alpha and Beta on dozens of infiltration missions into enemy lines to retrieve stolen and/or important resources, and to take out the enemy leaders that raised a threat to their cause. Using some of these resources that the two Maris had retrieved, Ryth finally created one last Mari device, stronger than anything ever before. Omega. ***

Ramblings and Updates: Hey all~ Really hope you enjoyed reading the backstory stuff, I'm always super excited to talk about the ideas running around my head for my OCs and story But hey, here's more stuff relating to Mari, who, as a lot of you know, is going to be a pivotal character to my comic I want to take a second here to thank all of you once again for your outstanding support towards Mari. It still makes me inexplicably happy to know that people actually enjoy the characters I create ;w; I couldn't possibly ask for a better bunch of supporters and friends than you guys, love y'all I really hope you all continue to love and enjoy her character when I begin to roll out the comic itself ^_^ In this picture, we have the Mari team together in the Ryth HQ getting ready for another mission, and Beta is quite excited by the looks of things

Oh also, I should mention that Alpha and Beta's designs are inspired by OCs created by 2 of my real close friends, I asked for their permission and they were okay with it, but please, also check out Halute and SirPuddings
