Description Hey everyone! I'm finally back!!  If you read my Christmas journal, you'll know what's been up with me, but if not, in short, I had a lot of personal and mental health issues to deal with in November, and a general lack of motivation from that carried over into December  (also holidays, y'knah? ) Anyways, enough about all that! Everything's going great for me as of now thankfully, and I'm so happy to be posting something new for you all! If you read that journal, you'd also know that during my hiatus, I spent a lot of time catching up on the manga for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, my absolute favourite anime/manga franchise!!  Since December, I made it through Stone Ocean, Steel Ball Run, and I'm now currently reading JoJolion... Steel Ball Run is now the best thing I've ever read, just sayin'  I would love to make some fan-art for it soon~ Anywho, for the people who have never seen/read/heard of this series, if you enjoy anime/manga that is both full of insane fights and action, over the top stories, and ridiculous characters with the most incredible powers out there, I sincerely recommend you give it a go, and hey, the first 4 parts are animated if you don't feel like reading just yet Also, if the art style turns you off, please still give it a try, most people feel that way until they see it in action, it really truly just works.  Anyways, I really loved reading Part 6, so I felt it was only right to make some fan-art of Jolyne Cujoh with her Stand "Stone Free" in the Green Dolphin Street Jail courtyard, a scene that anyone who's read knows how ridiculous this area became... those dang frogs, well, at least they weren't the snails hahaha.  Welp, that about does it for me, it's great to be back again! I'll try my best to post more regularly from here on! I hope you all enjoy this piece and have a wonderful day~

I know that feeling in regards to personal and mental health issues. Had my family over for the Holidays' and though it was great, I didn't get a lot of my ussual time for myself. I had to pack my computer away in order to have room for my parents. It's only when they left I had the opportunity to draw again, but my scanner is still packed away, so no new submissions from me xP

It's always nice to dive down in to reading, watching my shows or art when I am getting over a bad period so I get your enthusiasm for catching up with your manga. I've tried JoJo's Bizarre Adventure some time ago, and yes, the style have been a bit off-putting for me. I'd like to give it a chance, but I'd also like my heart to be more in to it before I dive down in this adventure xD

Now, on to your art. Your lines are nice and clean, lovely. Those lines, in connection with your attention to shadow and lighting on the two characters fits really well! However, in the future it might be a good idea to make your rainbows more 'glowing'. Afterall, rainbows are a reflection of the sun and therefore need to have more 'pop' to it. I can't tell you how to do it, but knowing how you work with lighting and shadows, I think you'll figure it out quickly

Ah I completely get what you mean about family, sometimes they're great, and sometimes they really get in the way hahaha I certainly understand the introvert's way of needing personal time, that's for sure But hey, it's great to know you're finding time for more art now, I really look forward to seeing that when you're able to post again

Mmhm, and not to mention, it's always great to take note of how those things are made while reading/watching/listening too, I find just taking a second to focus on some minor details really helps a lot in my art Yeah don't worry, I fully understand. Most of my friends who eventually got into the series outright hated the style at first, and said they'd never even look at it by choice I hope you're able to look past it at least soon enough, and also I hope you enjoy it just the same of course

Thank you so much for always giving genuine criticisms to my art, these comments really help As for the rainbows, I didn't want the background to stand out too much compared to the characters here, and I found at higher percentage opacity, it felt too mushed, if that makes sense   but I completely get what you mean, thank you again

Ever since my parents left my boyfriend asks me if we should eat our dinner together (we live together) and I am like 'nah, I'll eat by my computer'. I'm usually not like that, but I just want to be alone right now! xD

I'll give JoJo's a chance one day, but I just started Fringe, so might be some time before I try out anything else

I understand that you don't want the rainbows to be too overpowering compared to the foreground, but maybe just a little brightness in there, or a little glow. They just look 'dulled', if you understand what I mean? All the other colors in this piece, including the once in the background are really popping, so I just feel a bit sad for the rainbows x3

I hope your 2017 will be happy and safe as well

Anyways, nice art!! I really like the glowy effect and you're getting better at anatomy it looks like!! I don't really watch anime, but I've heard a lot about Jojos Bizarre Adventure and I really do want to watch it aaa.

I'm surprised you guys seem to like the glow so much tbh, it's pretty simple to do, I'll defo make more use of it from here on I guess But really though, thank you again for the support, I really appreciate it Also, honestly, I may not seem it, but I'm not *that* into anime either (at least, I barely finish any series I start), but I just really love JJBA, it may just be because it aint typical weeb trash hahaha. But hey, if you end up giving it a go, I really hope you enjoy it!

Oh dude, just download the coloured version from the JoJo's Colored Adventure Team website, it's a fantastic translation and it looks amazing Don't worry though, I'm not a JJBA fan who spoils stuff, they're absolutely everywhere and I hate those people Enjoy the rest of SO though man!

Aaaah! You posted something!
I really like the vibrancy of color in the characters and the contrast with the background, as well as the background itself. And the glow. Especially the glow.
But the grass cutting off looks rather jarring, and the poses could be more dynamic, particularly with Stone Free.

Thanks so much for giving a genuine bit of criticism, it's certainly more important to see that from you at least. I tried to remedy the grass with the little tufts standing out, but I still see what you mean for sure. Also, about the poses, that was actually my main focus with this drawing, especially with Stone Free, but ah if you say they're not good enough, I'll put even more extra effort into em next time. Posing has never been a strong suit of mine, I really want to learn them more than anything honestly. Thanks again for your crits, dude, it's always important to get good comments like this.
