Recently inspired by a book on bonsai that I purchased a while back as well as by a picture that a friend made for me as a house warming gift when I moved into my apartment. I'm actaully thinking about painting a series like this to hang on my walls. What do you think?
Also, the kanji says "New wisdom can be found in old things".

I love the detail in the leaves.. they seem at first to just all kind of be one.. but then there's the white and the grey, and the black, and where they overlap.. very impressive. I love it.
