Description This specific fakemon is based off two very VERY dark origins. The first being the native american mythological creature, the Wendigo, a deer-like creature that was once a human but became a monster after resorting to cannibalism. The second is the story of the Donner Party. Not long after California became a state and people began migrating to the new state, a family known as the Donners had gotten lost in the Rocky Mountains. They were trapped in the snowy mountains for so long that they had to resort to cannibalizing the bodies of their dead family members before finally being rescued.

So, in the Yehaw region, you'll find this scary pokemon in the rocky mountain areas at night or in caves.

Windredo's body can become so cold that it produces never melt ice on it's face and horns. Just touching this ice can caused pain. It will charge at it's prey at full force, it's antlers causing frostbite to form around the wounds. It is important to have a rawst berry or ice heal on hand when encountering this pokemon. It takes a very skilled and very brave trainer to have one.

There's a tale that a family of travelers made the mistake of following a Windredo into the mountains and were never seen again. It's said that Windredo can tell when one is close to death or in danger. If you're out in the mountains and see a Windredo watching you, head back before it's too late.

I never heard of the Wendigo in native american stories. I'm a native american myself but Idk, maybe I don't hear enough stories but I do love your new Fakemon 💙
