its an arika and kamali night fellas............. lloyd and i got ourselves VERY upset over these two... if youre new here, arika is one of my most beloved ocs to ever exist, i've had them since i was like 14?? they and kamali are in love and very tragic (falls down dead)

May I ask what their bio-gender is? Just out of curiousity! The dark haired one looks a little more androgynous than the blond one but I find it awesome seeing two non-binary people loving each other! It shows that there are no limits in love and that it doesn't matter how you identify yourself - we're all human and we can all love each other. <3

kamali, the brown haired one, is dfab! arika, the blonde, is a little more complicated-- they have no concept of gender whatsoever, they grew up in a culture completely without any such thing, so nothing is canon with them in that regard!! all i ever specify is that they aren't drawn with any boobs, but otherwise ive never set anything in stone just out of respect for them!! :^] they are.... an enigma

Ah, thanks for the information! I must admit, I had to google what exactly 'dfab' means. xD I'm a trans person myself but I'm not that familiar with all those abbrevations. But okay, I would've guessed so, too! They look more like females but I know that it doesn't have to mean anything what you look like or what style you prefer. ^^
Sounds really interesting! Not everything needs a clear definition, I like it when something or someone's more 'in between'.

AS FOr the tragedy. i cant say specific details since Lloyd and i plan on trying to make them a comic BUT!!
one of the broader themes is how self sacrificial arika is and how they’ve got the weight of the world on their shoulders, kamali is helpless to do anything but watch , and likewise arika holds a lot of guilt for how the people they love (kamali especially, who they love most) get hurt just for being around them :” D
