Story:
Lucky Moonflower is the eighth of the new generation to be born, and Princess Luna's adopted daughter.
During one of her night strolls in the woods Princess Luna found a foal wrapped in a blanket sleeping on a moonflowers' bed, and without knowing what else to do the princess took her back to the castle to treat her. As Luna treated the little foal she noticed that she was no ordinary pony, she was half griffon as well. During the few hours the princess took care of her she grew attached to the tiny hybrid. And after pondering that, no matter where she would be left she'd still be treated differently, Luna decided to take her in and adopting her.

Lucky Moonflower has always been a quiet filly and during her childhood she rarely interacted with anyone else besides her mother or her aunt, uncle and cousins. Not that she would mind though, she was actually glad for not having to deal with so many ponies. She took private classes inside the castle just like her cousins and one of her favorites have always been the violin class.

When she first met Gallant Shield she was terrified at first for meeting someone new, and so she locked herself in her room to avoid him. But Gallant wouldn't stop knocking at her door every ten minutes and asking her to come out and play games with him. At some point she gave up and decided to play with him once, but as the two played together she started feeling safe around the young colt, she even laughed at his lame jokes and talked more than she ever did with anyone else. The two became close friends and every time Gallant Shield came to visit Lucky was always happy to see him.

As she grew up, her interactions around others have been slightly improved thanks to Gallant's help, and her cousins. And the solid proof of that was when Pandemonium invited her and Radiance to accompany him to Ponyville to meet his friends. At first she was scared to meet such a big group of friends, especially because they could judge her and dislike her for not being a "normal pony". But their reaction was the exact opposite of what she expected. They all welcomed her with open arms and were excited to have her as a friend. And in the end so was she.

As the years passed Lucky Moonflower grew closer to Gallant Shield, and she began to feel strange around him. When she talked with Radiance about it the older princess just smiled and said that what she was feeling was love. Lucky at first didn't believe her words but she soon realized that Radiance was right. One day she decided to confess, although as Gallant approached her she chickened out and prepared to run away. But the prince stopped her and surprised her when he said that had something to confess. It was in that moment that Gallant Shield said he loved her, and she was too shocked to speak that just leaned against him and held him tight.

At the present time Lucky Moonflower does her duty of helping night flowers bloom with her magic powers every night.

Lucky Moonflower, along with C.C., are the only characters from the Next Generation to have Griffon heritage.
So far Lucky Moonflower is the only reverse-hippogriff known in Equestria.
Lucky was mistaken by an Alicorn a few times. Unlike what most ponies think her wings aren't from pony heritage, they came from her Griffon side.
Lucky doesn't like being stared at because she thinks the other ponies are judging her for being an hybrid.
Lucky doesn't have any curiosity in finding out who her biological parents are.
When faced with a large crowd she starts feeling anxious and at some points panics.
The only crowd Lucky Moonflower feels comfortable with is her closest friends.
When Starchaser first came to Canterlot Castle to control her magic powers she scared Lucky Moonflower with her loud greeting, and the princess jumped so high that she held on to a chandelier.
Lucky is usually more active at night than during the day, sometimes she stays up all night and sleeps in the morning if she doesn't have important things to do.
Lucky likes to accompany Luna on her night strolls sometimes.
Luna once tried to teach Lucky Moonflower to use the Royal Canterlot Voice when she was young, but as Luna made her display Lucky squeaked and hid under the bed, terrified of the loud sound. After that Luna never tried to teach her the old royal speech again.
Lucky realized her potential during one of her night strolls with her mother. As they passed by a night flowers' bed Lucky's horn began to glow, and for her surprise so did the flowers. Then a small magical burst was released from her horn and as the magic aura touched the flowers they started to bloom. It was at that moment that she received her cutie mark.
Lucky sometimes brings her violin when visiting her Ponyville friends so she can play with Bing Cherry as he plays with his acoustic guitar or banjo.
Lucky and Harmony get along pretty well and they tend to talk mostly about gardening, flowers and animals.
When Lucky laughs with enjoyment she snorts. She finds that embarrassing.
She has a goldfish named Daisy as a pet, which she received as a present from Gallant Shield during the fair in Ponyville.
Lucky Moonflower has the lowest tolerance to alcohol from the Next Generation, even Harmony has more tolerance than she does.
Lucky got addicted to read comic books because Gallant Shield always urged her to read with him.
She's a very fast flier, probably as much as Windy Belle's mother Rainbow Dash, although Lucky doesn't like to exhibit her skills to not be the center of attentions.
Lucky is one of the most patient ponies from the Next Generation, while Radiance, Harmony and Agate have a limit, she remains calm and collected through most ordeals and discussions without cracking.
Every year during Summer she goes to the swamp just to watch fireflies on certain nights.
