Story:
Windy Belle was the fifth of the new generation to be born and the first pony in Equestria's history to born by the power of alicorn magic and pure love combined.
Windy Belle has always been an energetic and headstrong pony since she was little, with a great sense of loyalty and kindness that she took after her parents. And despite being the first pony to be born with the aid of Alicorn Magic she never thought of herself as someone "special" and "unique" like many would point out.

At age of 3 Windy surprised her mothers when she said she wanted a little sister, many fillies of her age would make a fuss to be the only child, but not her. Her mothers actually decided to give it a try, specially Fluttershy. And when Harmony was born Windy Belle proved to be a very caring sister despite her young age. Aware that her baby sister required constant care and vigilance from their parents Windy tried to help and be as responsible as she could. She would stay by Harmony's side when she got sick or when had trouble sleeping, and protected her from any danger, even if there wasn't any. Windy's bond with Harmony grew over the years and even when Harmony became an adult and independent Windy never stopped caring and worrying about her.

At age of 5 Windy entered the kindergarten, and she was optimistic that things would go well and that she would make good friends. However things didn't go as she thought. Windy always expressed how proud and grateful she is of the loving family she has, much to the point of defending it from bad mouths.
Such that during the first week at the kindergarten she got involved in arguments with other fillies who mocked her and her family. The leading bully was Sour Lemon, son of a lemon merchant, and he showed great disgust for Windy's existence and her family. Windy didn't want to get involved in any fights unless it was in self defense as her mom, Rainbow Dash, taught. Then things went bad as Sour Lemon pushed her over to the ground. Windy got involved in a terrible fight with the bully that was stopped only by their teacher. In the end she was expelled from kindergarten and from that day on Windy spent every day in the company of her mother, Fluttershy, and her baby sister until she was old enough to enter elementary school.

At age of 6 Windy Belle went to elementary school and for her surprise her best friend, Starchaser, was in the same class. She knew her friend was so smart that she probably was accepted to enter an year earlier.
The two have been best friends since they were little foals and almost inseparable ever since. Despite their significant differences in tastes and personalities they always got along with each other, and whenever they had arguments they would suck it up and make up shortly after.

During Elementary and High School Windy Belle never showed much interest for any class in particular, and that worried her parents because it meant that she doesn't know what to do after graduation. Everyone told her that she'd be a great racer or a Wonderbolt, but she didn't care about winning nor performances. She just wanted to be useful for the community, and so she decided to join the weather patrol after graduating at age of 19.
Windy almost snapped when realized that she had to take exams to enter, and after begging for several days Starchaser helped her studying and passing the entry exams.

Shortly after being accepted into the weather patrol team Starchaser informed her that she was going away for a internship in Canterlot for three months. Deep down Windy was sad and surprisingly mad for not being informed before, but it was temporary, her friend wouldn't be away forever so she didn't express any discontent, instead she looked forward to their reunion. During Starchaser's absence Windy started feeling separation anxiety and began to realize how much she missed and cared for Starchaser, in a deeper level than just friends. The three months she was away in Canterlot were enough to make Windy reconsider her relationship with her, and what she would do after her return.
When Starchaser came back from her internship Windy Belle decided to tell her how she felt. They scheduled a meeting on their usual meeting spot to observe the night sky, and there Windy confessed her feelings. After a minute of silence (and panic for Windy), Starchaser confessed that she liked her as well, and the two have been together ever since.

At the present time Windy Belle is the leader of Ponyville's weather patrol team, showing great leadership and performance of controlling the weather which makes her parents very proud. And ever since she and Starchaser started dating Windy has shown positive changes in her behavior when comes to be dedicated to a task or showing interest in something, instead of being a laid back without exploring her abilities.
