Still on an Egyptian Kick.

It's August and I had volleyball on the mind. I remembered I did a sketch of Violet at the beach a while back, so I wanted to make another one with color. Decided to do a basic scarab motif for her bikini and tried using the curve line tool for a distorted view.

One thing I'm trying differently is simplifying my OCs' hair. I noticed in earlier pictures that I use for reference that I try to put too much detail in the hair, which makes it look phenomenally terrible to look at. I also need to get a basic idea of hair physics in general, so hopefully I can get a grasp on it.
