This is my first assignment for the Breaking Your Art Box class from #TheArtAcademy .
I'm Heather of the Corvidae clan.
The assigenment was to sketch a self portrait in which one facial feature was covered.
This is a picture of my and my cat Panda, whose tall is covering my nose.
I went for a comic-ish looking style (:
I really like frozen coffee lately. C:
Materials: Cardstock paper, sakura pigma ink pen, copic markers and editing using gimp.

Very cute, I like the sparse use of colour -- really brings the focus in. Cleanly detailed, but simple, too. Good job!
My only suggestion would have been to either change the placement of the bottom speech bubble, or consider whether you needed it at all (the expressions show what it is you'd be saying just as well as words, nicely done). With where it is, my eyes are drawn too much to the bottom corner, when they should be drawn to the two faces.
Aside from that, I think it's a really adorable drawing, and very well done.
Points:
3 for completion, 2 for success (no points for improvement until the second assignment). 5 points total for Corvidae.
