This is a beautiful painting Heather, and I can well imagine a serious amount of time went into it. I can't say I have seen many paintings that I would say are perfect but this is definitely one of them. The way you have connected all of the parts of this together, the refraction of the elements under the surface, and the wonderful air bubbles are all brilliant. I have always admired how you can make sharp lines out of smooth ones, and this shows that very well. I am currently painting a waterfall scene and movement is very new to me, so seeing your painting is a nice bit of inspiration.

Heather there is a lot of work I like, but not much I really respect and love to a great degree, your work is some of the best I get to view anywhere. I am jealous of it, enamored by it, and it pushes me to do better with my own work. I am glad it made your day, because getting to view it and comment on it made mine.
