well, this one was actually a glass object first, I think it used to be one of those ugly heavy glass ash trays turned upside down, before I "transformed" it into a jellyfish! Yeah, I used to draw a lot of glasses, bottles and even marbles as exercise years ago, but I haven't done it for a while now. It is a good exercise to learn how light falls through transparent objects.
Next time I try a real jelly fish, but I need to go to the aquarium and study them first, to see what's inside them and how they move. I only have a rough idea about them, but if I want a painting to look "real", every brush stroke has to be in the right place...
