wow nice photo - it's a different perspecitive for once! lol normally photos of buckingham palace are all directly at the front... those get boring lol but I love this ^_^ (I'm english if you hadn't gathered lol) I love the colour that the sun is washing over the stone compared to the deep blue of the sky, you truely did go at the right time ^_^

Wonderful photograph, the colours contrast very well, the black chains and statue, against the orange building and sky, is there any post editing work on this, like saturation or increased contrast?

very nice!
the repitition leading right into the center of interest,
its not easy to capture old architecture the right way...but you did it...
the sky is beautiful too, and the monument of the horseman acts as an extra special...
...almost hidden...well done!
greets, mm

Composition creates design, and what lovely design you have created. The colors are vivid and strong, I love that late afternoon light, the way it settles on the image like a warm blanket. My eyes are very pleased here.

Hey there... Trying to get my excitement back for this site so I am going around to everyone watching me and commenting on their latest piece. 1900 in all. This should be fun.
Great image. Wonderful use of a leading line. Puts the eye right on the building. I might pull some yelo and red out of the yellows and tone down the yellowish cast in the stones. Nice warm light but just a bit too warm for my taste. Not much, just a little...
Later my friend. I hope all is well... 1895 to go!!!

You are right!
this was the prefect time of the day.
I dig that one quite a lot.
I think the most interesting part is the ligthtning of course.
it seems like a gorgeous end of afternoon, the sun painting the walls has a crwon would be.
the blue, intense blue of the sky balance the entire composition, but only becasue it holds some white spots in it's arms.
Long shades are making my thoughts getting even longer, and teh texture of the ground brings me back to the greatness of teh oranges, colours that I adore above all.
Fianlly, cropping seems to be workign great too, long, just like the shades, and narrow, made even more powerful by the lines, multiple lines going up, following the path of the frame.
Great work Hesi.
Cheers
Space

What I particularly like about this photo is the skew of the scale given from this perspective! The building is taken at one the better angles a building like this may be pictured (getting smaller to the right) yet the way the chain fence post stands out and goes back a little to the left really gives an awsome sense of perspective and scale while instilling some uncanny depth into the whole image, all without being unaesthetically imposing at all.
