2nd Sino-Japanese war! Back then Japanese soldiers really had a "beheading and bayoneting" gig going on, ugh >.<Done in Photoshop CS2

P.S. Regarding Taiwan, as far as I know (which is as far as wikipedia says!) Taiwan was actually a pretty alright colony during Japanese rule. As a result no major atrocities were commited on the Taiwanese people after 1930. It was during 1936 when the Japanese more aggressively tried to assimilate the Taiwanese and integrate them into the Japanese Empire.
tl;dr: Taiwan was not directly attacked by Japan but was strongly encouraged to assmilate into the Empire.

Hahaha! You clearly know nothing about East Asian politics since if you did, you’d realize that China is the one in danger right now. They’re constant expansion into the territories of other Asian countries has made them enemies with Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, Tibet and even South Korea has a big dislike for China. Not to mention that America would wipe China off the face of the earth if they even thought about doing anything stupid. Most of the countries I’ve listed do joint military exercises with Japan, it seems that China are the ones in desperate need of a few friends lol.
