i don't know to which extent cats are able to have feelings, but this piece implies that they do have certain emotions. i like how the clouds on the right imply enormous height, so that i can guess that, on this level, the cat must be very alone.
interesting manipulation work, i must conclude.

but for me - it's the way cats jump impossible distances - and used that as a metaphor in this.
