im not sure it was featured, i think i found it through someone who faved my work's gallery... or something like that. i like the composition and mystery to it. Im Canadian, so the snow isn't much of a surprise! lol

Well, here in Germany, snow is quite common, too. At least in winter. Luckily, not as much as in Canada.
Can't wait for the spring, finally. This winter was kind of hard for Middle Europe. Last snow is only a few days ago. But they say in the end of the week, we'll have 20°C!

naja, er hat sich von seinem recht bürokratisch denkenden Volk quasi verabschiedet um in seinem Raumschiff ein bisschen durch Zeit und Raum zu wandern, das macht er jetzt seit guten 900 Jahren, hat immer wieder (tw. menschliche) Companions und gurkt halt so durch die Gegend

Ich lese gerade nebenher Ray Bradburys "Der illustrierte Mann" und musste dabei an den ewigen Juden denken, daher bin ich auf diese Beschreibung gekommen.
Ist ja auch relativ unwahrscheinlich, daß man bei diesen Wetterbedingungen jemanden mitten auf einem Acker begegnet - aber das wird sich der Wanderer, der übrigens eine türkische Omi ist, sicher auch gedacht haben.

I believe it. On saturday I was shotted on the mount (about 1000m). It was amazing inversion, but unfortunately the watchtower was closed. On the end of my trip I had so frozen hands that I had problem with unlock my car

Yes, spontanous portraits was the one categoriy I was thinking about besides misc... but then.
I think it recieves more attention in landscapes, as the landscape is dominant - even if it would be nothing without the wanderer.

When I fav'd it I put it in landscapes without seeing where you had put it.....so landscapes works for me! LOL
I really like this, the one spot of black amongst all that white is really awesome. It feels....sort of lonely somehow. Great job in the photo.

I have that one in my fav's already, doesn't even look like the same place other than all that white *BRRRRRRRRRRR* both are great shots. I think I like this one a little better because the trees are more white washed with the snow.
