Description
Took a small break from a large art trade to draw this up. I'm experimenting with different types of shading and line art.This is Hinata in her Sparring/Working Out outfit in Third Beginning. (My Kingdom Hearts Fan-fiction)
I want to do the same thing I did with True Friends and make a drawing of each outfit she wears throughout her journey.
In the last chapter, Hinata and Riku sparred again for the first time since they were back on the island and this is what she wore.
She is heading to the Wreck it Ralph world next chapter, so I will be drawing her outfit there up soon.
Anyways, back to the art trade!!

Oh yay! Well, here is the exact excerpt from the chapter:
"Hinata was clad in dark gray metal armor, hefty but slick and streamlined. The shoulders and chest plate were thick and square, as were her knee-high boots, but the rest seemed to be designed with speed in mind. Long red light strips were tastefully placed along the thighs, upper arms, shoulder pads, and one was cornering the left side of her chest plate. She had a thick helmet on, with glowing red lights running over the top of the helmet and meeting with a red-tinted visor over the top half of her face. On her back was a large gun, a double-barreled beast that seemed that it would laugh in derision at anything that had the misfortune to be aimed in its sights."
It's going to be a challenge drawing it; but I'm really looking forward to it!!

(No pressure to read it, it's really just if you are interested) My husband actually wrote this chapter. He is doing two guest chapters for my story and since his favorite Disney movie is 'Wreck it Ralph' he had Hinata and Riku go there.
Also, side note, Hinata will be headed to Atlantis in the next few chapters. I'm really excited to send her there and I have a lot of fun ideas. Thank you for the outfit and world idea

Oh, that sounds awesome! I can't wait to see you draw it! I imagine it will be difficult drawing/coloring the armor(I never even attempted drawing it before, because I'm always afraid it'll look horrible), but I know you'll do an amazing job on it!

Well if I ever get back to re-writing True Friends again that might help you out with reading it ha-ha! I have gotten so caught up in writing Third Beginning, my re-write got put on the back burner. My sister was really wanted to read Third Beginning but she couldn't read through True Friends because my writing left a lot to be desired. So I actually went and wrote an abridged version of the first 29 chapters of True Friends. Lessening the story from over 200 pages to only 10. If you would be interested sometime, I could send you the abridged version. It has all the important info from the story and is a lot quicker to read. That way you wouldn't have to read my early on writing that was just plain awful lol

Here is the summary up to chapter 29! I wrote this on my phone so I apologize for any spelling and tense errors; but this explains everything important in the story. (My husband wanted me to point out that ch 25 is a fun chapter to read fully. lol! It was one of his favorites.)

Up to Chapter 29
Riku has lived on Destiny Islands his whole life with his best friends, Sora and Kairi. When he was young Kairi appeared on the island, falling from the sky like a shooting star. Ever since that moment he has been obsessed with finding what else is out there beyond their tiny island.
Eight years after the incident, another person fell from the sky; the same way as Kairi had all those years ago. Riku was out with his friends when the person fell into the ocean and he immediately dove in to save them. Once bringing them ashore he found that the person he had saved was a girl, but she was unconscious.
The girl was quickly taken to the hospital and stayed there for days before awakening. Riku came to visit her, bringing along his friends where they found her name was Hinata. She had fuzzy memory of how she came to be there but most of her important memories were still intact. The one thing she knew for certain was that she was looking for her sister

I thought it was very good! I really liked how Hinata would have been around a few months prior to the events of the first KH game. I can really imagine her being friends with all 3 of them, and all through the first part of the story I could just imagine Hinata being in the beginning cutscenes/segments
The only time I was a little lost was during their stay in Prydain(I hope I spelled that right). But don't worry, it wasn't because of the writing! I'm just not familiar with The Black Cauldron, so I wasn't sure who everyone was and I wasn't familiar with all of their names.
But I really enjoyed it!(especially that really cute part she kisses Riku awake, ahahaa
Now I feel like I need to read that rest after that cliffhanger at the end!

Yeah, honestly I had never seen The Black Cauldron before writing this story. I was just trying to think of a Disney world that would make sense for Riku to get Soul Eater; so I started watching different Disney movies I knew had swords in it and The Black Cauldron just fit. But I'm sorry it was confusing! It made more sense in the actual full written story; I didn't really follow the movie and made a lot of my own characters.
Ahaha I'm really glad you thought that part was cute! There are actually a few more kissing scenes in the story that I just didn't add to the abridged version.
I hope you do sometime! (take your time, I don't mean to rush you at all) Now you will be able to read the rest in actual story form rather than in summary. haha! The summary went up to chapter 29, so there are only 10 more chapters of the story. They are relatively short too, like all less than 5,000 words each (I'm pretty sure)

Thanks! I hear a lot of theories that Maleficent gave Soul Eater to Riku; but in my opinion that never really makes sense. Especially how he keeps the weapon even after he realizes that Maleficent was manipulating him and his friends. I don't know, I just wanted to come up with something different haha

With this particular one I did. I have a hard time figuring out sitting positions and I want to get better at them. So on my other computer monitor I put up a bare pose sketch of a girl sitting in the above position and tried to draw it on my other screen haha.
