Description "Gravity, stay the hell away from me..."
-John Mayer

One of my favourite songs.
I wish I knew how to keep the paper from crinkling, cuz then their wouldn't be so much shadow when I scan. Maybe I need heavier/thicker watercolour paper?

watercolours, white acrylic, and some PSelements to adjust brightness

It's so cute. Maybe it's just me, but the boy looks a bit like Christopher Robin from the Winnie-the-Pooh series.

Lovely! The translucence of the balloons is perfect! And the sky is so realistic! And that kid is just adorable. ^^

I'm terrible at watercolors myself, but if I may, I've always found that attaching the perimeter of the paper to the hard surface with artists' tape before adding paint, and waiting until the picture is completely dry before removing it, helps with the wrinkling immensely.

Just spray the back lightly and evenly with water and sandwich the artwork between something flat and let it dry out overnight or something.

This is sooo cool. I have the same exact problem. Normally I just add way to much water to the page, but thicker paper helps also. Or just let it draw and then sit a large book on top and sit over night?

Lol I tend to add lots of water too and as soon as I do, I go 'damn, why'd I just do that!?' I'll definitely invest in some heavier paper
