Greetings! I came across this full attention and especially time image
It is clear that the girl wonders if she made ββa mistakeΒ .
To which is the artistic side, I love the melted given on the number Pi (Ο).
The background really makes the scene, is immersed in history.
FΓ©licitaion, a beautiful piece of art!Β

Thank you! Ahh, you noticed! ;w; I know I should have made a few more shapes, but I was sort of in a rush because the file was getting a bit too big for my computer to handle.

Yeah, they're really annoying. I really need to upgrade my computer though, so I can work on more intensive pictures... ;w; I just can't make really clean pictures on one layer...but I guess I need to learn to use less. This probably took about 80 layers or more.

I love the whole mysterious atmosphere of this drawing!! Her curious expression also looks so cute I can't even-- <33 great work! If I had to recommend something, try to pay more attention to the colours you use. I'm sure if you give it an overlay of any colour in a low opacity or added a texture, it'd look even more magical βγοΌγγβοΌgood luck and keep up the great work!!

Thank you very much!! ahhh yess, I'm not very good with colors anymore it seems orz and you might be right!! an overlay layer might help! I don't generally use textures, but they can make things look very nice, but I don't really have any. xD I guess I'll have to look for some for next time...

Well textures aren't really that important but some do work! There's this deviant named cloaks who has a lot of nice ones! I hope I helped ;-;

Thank you!! Yeah, I definitely need to work on light perspective.... and yeah, I probably should have made some parts of the room darker, but I didn't want the whole picture to end up too dark... I guess I just really need to work on practicing values. u w u

this is really good, I get this alice in wonderland vibe for some reason, don't know why. But its as if the words coming out of the book are are doing something around her to take her somewhere else, and she has a look of what is going on which is interesting in that something magical is happening but yet conveying the vibe of her being frightened.

Oh thank you very much!! That is a really neat idea, of the magic wrapping around her and taking her somewhere else! xD

This appears to an interesting original character/OC you have come up with. Looking at her backstory, she appears to be into books. It is quite appropriate that you have put her in such a setting that shows this instead of only putting it in your description. Within the image it is clear that she is perhaps an avid reader judging by those thick books on the selves or just curious for knowledge. Her pose conveys a bit of wonder of why is that magic is coming from the best seller novel she was only reading. Despite that she is doing that spell unconsciously.
As for your vision, the idea is executed well. There are numerous strong points of this deviation. One of which is the gentle color palette of the female's outfit. A nice cool blue that does not clash with the rest of the scene, and it is properly darkened in respect to the dark basement/library. The same with the hair and other features. The room itself may be too dark,but could be favorable in accordance to the overall scene. Also the perspective can be seen at work at the bottom left of the image, looks close to or even completely accurate. An aerial perspective would be fitting to for this as well. The bookshelves follow suit also in the tilt.
Small suggestions to consider is that the book is illuminated a bit pink despite the yellow that flows from it. Then again it may be because the book is red, so the pinkish light makes sense. Since there light that is coming from both pages, maybe could illuminate a little bit more of the books/jars/floor that it is over? Maybe brighten the lap of the character the book is on, like the left ''our view'' hand is? As for the character sitting there, her right eye could be overlapping the hair a minor bit.
Anyway^^ this is a well done character and how the sense of a magical fantasy is presented, maybe you can explore it more in your later works. Even with Vaya or Chesca for a story about apothecary, noting the bottles.^^ Nice work. Hirahime Β

Oh wow thank you!! Ahh, now that I think about it she probably would be an avid reader, although I didn't imagine all the books to be hers. I thought of it as more of a family library, and that she is down here searching for something in particular. xD I tried to stick to a mostly red/blue/yellow color palette, and that is also why the light around the book is pink! Because I thought it really went nicely with the colors, but I failed in adding it to more parts of the picture (other than the red bottles/books/vases in the background..) And yes I definitely should have illuminated the background a BIT more... u v u' and her lap as well. I was having a hard time figuring out where the light/shadows would fall exactly, so that's something I definitely need to practice. I probably shouldn't have let her eye overlap her hair like that, it's a style thing I tend to do but it probably would look better otherwise. Thank you, again! u w u I might try to do more pictures like this, at least with more detailed backgrounds and perspective practice..
