You may claim you messed up with this piece but it looks like it was for the better parts of it, lol! It sounds weird but i'd say to continue intentionally messing up as you did here and look at it more as an experiment or something as this looks really nice!!

I actually like this one. I'm sure you have your own thoughts on what could have been improved. My two cents: the sorcerers expression seems a bit soulless (more confused than angry or afraid, you know?). The line of the staff combined with the skeleton's sword (behind the light) points pretty much directly corner to corner, which is generally bad composition... I'm not entirely certain it's hurting here, but it's something to keep in mind if you go back to alter this piece. Perhaps you could reposition the skeletons arms so his sword points to the glowing hand instead. I think that'd move the eye around more. There are a few spots that could use sharpening up, sure, but those areas are not the center pf focus, and I think they may be just as good being blurred artistically. Anyway, I think this pic is more of a success than a failure, and the fact that you view it as a failure is simply a testament to your great artistic skill. Either that or you're depressed, in which case I'd recommend a psychiatrist.
