I was slightly confused when I saw the title. I thought to myself, "Criffel... maybe it's a combination of 'cliff' and some other word." I really must pay more attention to the world around me; of course it was referencing Criffel, Scotland. -face palm-

Anyway, this is a lovely photo! I've said this countless times, but B&W photography is an artform that I consider completely different from color photography. Not many people treat it that way and end up with less than acceptable end products. You are obviously skilled in B&W photographs, though.

I love the focus and details that the black-and-white expose. The stone that takes center stage naturally diverts my attention up the photograph toward the sky in the distance. I love it! You took this photo at just the right angle to offer a unique and interesting perspective.
