Well Mike, I've experienced many wonderful landscapes but I have to say High Cup Nick was absolutely awe-inspiring! This was my first visit, the light wasn't good when I set off, but was fantastic for about an hour when I got there. I guess I was lucky that day. I live about an hour away, and intend revisiting many more times, what a place!!!! I love the description from a fourteen year old in Victorian times. approaching from what is now Cowgreen Reservoir he said "an' awl of a sudden there's a greet goolf, an' the world opens up to another land."

Its generally somewhere I'd go on my bike (for the decent back down to Dufton) so i'm without camera.
Will make a special journey with all my gear sometime!
It just looks like something has taken a huge bite out of the Pennines!
