Description This is a painting about my favorite saying: "The Lotus is a flower that blooms in the mud, the deeper the mud the more beautiful the lotus blooms." Its a budhist idea about optimism.

The concept behind this picture is amazing, that is one of my favorite sayings as well. The execution reminds me a bit of art nouveau.

Well art nouveau is a favorite period of art so its im my work alot, not to mention I really like nature and drawing with line.

just stumbled across your gallery and have been flicking through your work quickly. you are an unbelieveably talented person, mind if i watch you? this is one of my faveourites in your gallery, simple and very sweet, the colours and texture are fab. i like that saying too^^ keep producing this stuff, you're gonna go far!

Oh, very nice-excellent message, and very well executed. I especially love how the subjects are all unified by the fact that the media they were depicted with shows well, as well as the shaped border. This is one of the few pieces that I would probably actually want to hang on my wall

Aw thanks I'm glad you want to hang it. That means alot to me since I usually feel like I make art that most people would not care to hang.

thank you! I used acrylic on bored and cleaned it up and added text in photoshop.
