Another chinese painting. After this one i'm gonna lay off the chinese paintings temporarily and finish up my pile of undone anime CG jobs

This is amazing. It's one of the best realism oriented flower shots that I have ever seen! The only thing that I would perfer is a darker / lighter (probably darker would be better) shade for the background. The lotus as a flower is unique and beautiful. It should be a tad more bold and I think a sharper contrast would have achieved that.
I still love it though and I am about to fav it right now. Keep up the great work.

Well I do hope you return to this style again at some point, as these pieces are very peaceful on the eye. They will make very beautiful practical art that will harmonize with many types of living space. Also I have to disagree with Jezhawk I think the flowers are fine and they give good transion from the dark side of the painting to the light side. IMHO

wow! really beautiful. The only thing I would suggest is darkening the background around the flowers just a bit more to bring them forward as they kind of melt into the background right now. But other than that I think it's gorgeous
