I was thinking along the lines of the old EC Tales from the Crypt host.All photoshop except for the wash texture.

Yeah the woodcut style really lends itself to the horror genre. Probably coz it makes you think of the old woodcuts from the renaissance/ middle ages depicting devils etc.

like the tri tone cross hatching .. it's always a neat look , solid design concept to.. I also see hints of the Igor out of VanHelsing in this! and of course.. Feldmen 's eye-gor
