Awsome! Manadges to look very 3-d, and like it's been hand-drawn.

This, to me, is Celt all over. I am sick and tired of seeing Celts depicted with kilts. What an utter fabrication. How impratical as well. I tell you, if Celts wore kilts, they'd be covered in tick bites, suffering from frost bite and no doubt some other unpleasant things.

Kilts originated in France Not that I know very much....
This is totally awesome and believable. You did an amazing job the only thing cooler would be if it was colored

I think that's just a long tunic with a belt around the waist.

I really like this drawing. There're only a few things I'd like to mention:

His kilt isn't really a kilt. It looks more like his jacket being to long, finally looking like a very short skirt below the belt. Kilts are longer and at least reach the knees, I guess. They legs and shoes are a little bit too much medieval age instead of ancient celtic (maybe that was your purpose?). And again the sword: It looks rather like a Roman sword, so he might caught it from a slain foe? We'll never find out.

All in all, good work. Keep up!

Well, some Celts didn't wear a kilt. As you know the Celts ranged over many parts of Europe. In various ages of the celts their
manner of dress differed from place to place and decade to decade. The cloak pin might indicate an Irish Celt.
The typical weapons of a Celt were the axe and short sword. I based the sword and axe on the relics found in a Celts grave.
The sword may have been an adaptation of
the roman Gladius design.
Keep an open mind as to the range of the individual as well as class, era and location .

Mayans were neither Navajo nor Ojibwa nor Kwakiutl.

*squees with delight*

I think he's fantastic looking. He looks just the right mix of noble and slightly scruffy (His hair's flopping over his forehead! )

Very accurate, too. I might use him as a reference for drawing Celts.

Simple, but very effective.

A captured roman gladius, maybe?

What? No way man, he's totally Celt! The Romans invaded the Celts al over the place, so Celt is the perfect title to have if he's got a captured gladius...

Celtic culture is very interesting to learn about and it's becoming increasingly popular.
