Yep I worked in traditional animation for 8 years
and as a flash animator for 3 and 5 years as a character designer.
Buggered if I know what I'm gonna do now.

I like it a lot. It's cartoony but in a unique style. Not like the cookie cutter japanimation thatβs so popular now.

I know what you mean about the anime cookie cutter thing but
the anime had been pusing up against the thin walls of our western entertainment scene for years the anime success is a direct response
to our western failure.
When we were all caught up in trying to present responsible animated programming we also lost a bit of the fun and action, then in popped
the new shiny anime with explosions and off beat humor.
I have fond memories of The Flintstones and the actual "Disney classics".
The decade after mine have fond memories of the Transformers movie
and Robotech.
The next decade are Living on the fringes of Japan, I wonder if they'll
remember Spongebob in among all that anime.
