I really wish I woulda finshed this...Jeezus that is a HORRIBLE Harley/NiGHTS. Horribly Drawn but neat idea I think.
I am pretty sure I could have come up with some better matches on some of these characters. STORM shoulda been the penguin, not Jet.
And Knuckles is too much of a Dummy to be the Riddler. I remember making him Nightwing a long ass fuckin' time ago....
Jee. I wonder who Vector woulda been, had I gotten around to adding him onto this.
Cream woulda been perfect for "The Ventrilaquist" ...Cheeze could have been Scarface...but... Or perhaps Baby Doll.
The more I think about it the more I wonder who would be who. Who would be Ra's Al Ghul? The Mad Hatter? Mr. Freeze? Bane ( prolly Big, lol )? Maxie Zeus? The Scarc...ah.... Im gonna stop now..
Anyways. This is the last of my Scraps for now.

At the time I drew this, I didn't know about Hush. But If I did use Shadow for Hush, I wouldn't know who to make into Two-Face, and Two-Face seems more iconic than Hush.

WARNING! LONG ASS COMMENT AHEAD!
I want to point out the things that make your comparisons correct and incorrect:
1. Jet actually makes a better Penguin than
Storm because, though Storm is about the right size, Jet has a higher intelligence, and Penguin has a habit of using bad words.
2. Tikal is good as Ivy because, though Tikal's a good girl, they're both down-to-earth, and I can picture the she-echindna snapping at the humans' bad habits.
3. Clayface, don't know much about him except he's a liquidy monster, so I guess it fits.
4. Eggman as the Joker may not be approved by as many people because of the claim "He just doesn't have the right mentality!" Those people are obviously confusing the Ledger Joker with the original one, because the original was more subtly insane and had more gimmicks and brainpower, much like Eggy, with his whole Egg-whuteva thing going on and the "IQ of 300 *coughwhichisaliecough*". Also, they're both the nemisises of the protagonists.
5. Knuckles actually makes an OK riddler because, according to Batman Forever, the Riddler doesn't gain his intelligence via the high road and getting A's in school, but by an invention, disguised as an affordable TV extension that allows viewers to see the tube in 3D (naturally a best-seller), which allows him to read the minds of all the people hooked up to it, thus enhancing his intelligence greatly by "stealing" the facts learned by his victims. In short, Knux could be a dumb shit to begin with, but as long as he gets his hands on a machine like that... "THEN A GOD, IS, HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
6. Shadphiles as Two-Face, perfecto! Pure genius. I can see Shadow being the more caring half, while Mephiles is the scornful half (for, if you remember, Two-Face is, in effect, two people, seeing as Dent suffered from schitzophrenia even pre-accident, with one good personality and the other bad. Also, love the ring, though it should've been a chaos emerald. Shadow's nearly useless without his emerald, Two-Face is nearly useless without his special coin.
7. NiGHTS as Harley. Well, NiGHTS is, believe it or not, a GUY, and a goodguy nonetheless, and he's not a love-sick crazy person who was, ironically, training to be a therapist before being seduced. Still, NiGHTS originally came out as a girl to me, and the whole Jester resemblance is evident.
8. Rouge as Catwoman, yeaaaaa, that's were you went wrong. Ya see, sure Rouge is a burgular, kind of good kind of bad, almost like an anti-hero, but would only have a flirtatious relationship with Sonic at most. See, Bats and Cats actually HAVE something together, and Bats actually returns Cats love and would love to be with her (it's not flirting if the person returns the feelings with a passion). It's just that Bats often puts duty over desire and tries to see things in black and white, which is why B&C's relationship is often denounced as flirtatious at most and hero&villain instead of a near-hopeless romance between a hero&anti-hero. In fact, B&C have actually fought crime together on a few occassions, and Bats had to save Cats from a deathtrap every once and a while. Sonic and Rouge have nothing together. If anyone, Sally should be Catwoman. Don't feel bad thoug, Rouge probably came off as the obvious choice and would do the same for nearly everyone else.
9. Sonic as Batman: DUH
10. Tails as Robin: DUH AGAIN
11. Amy as Batgirl. Though Batgirl and Batman have no real romance, and though I am a Sonamy supporter (though I'd welcome many other couplings as well, excluding Sonelise, why the hell was she added in?), I still think it's good because they are the same age. Though I would often like to make Amy older in my own mind, it's true. Also, TailsXamy IS an available and used coupling.
Again, sorry for the long comment, but I just HAD to get all that off my chest!

It's obvious you are both a fan of Sonic and Batman. But what about other game characters? Im sorry, but after such a great comment, I wonder about your thoughts on this one: [link] ...Catwoman is the same, another feminine male as Harley, and even I know that some of those choices are off... ( shoulda made Psycho Mantis into Scarecrow. "Youve been playing Arkham Asylum, haven't you? )

Oooh, yea, I actually saw this BEFORE your Sonic one. Truth be told, I'm a bigger Spiderman fan than Batman, but I've been reading up on Bats and have been watching the GOOD animated series (the one from 1992) on Youtube, so I know quite a bit. Sadly, I don't know much about the Mad Hatter, though I am trying so hard to see the episode with him (damnit YouTube people, what does it take to post just a simple episode of "Mad as a Hatter" with the actual audio, huh, huh!?). And, yea, I am a huge Sonic fan, though I think the games are really going to shit, so I just browse fan arts and flashes. And, if you remember correctly, I was the one who suggested Sonic play Joker in your "Jupmman: The Stached Knight" pic. I mean, S&M are arch-rivals in the business and both clown prince and blue hero do have lovesick sidekicks (Amy is not registered as insane, but her sanity IS highly questionable).

I'm afraid I can't do much for the Jumpman one, cuz I don't know ALL the Batman villains, just the rouges gallery mains like Joker, Penguin, Two-face, Riddler, and Catwoman (and maybe Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze, but I'm not too sure they make that cut). Still, I will suggest a few things on there, despite that I am really clueless when it comes to Gruntilda and that Aeon guy who plays the Clock King, and I only know Pit and Tinkle from SSBB. But first, another long comment, if you may allow it, except now, suggestions for tha other villains! Am I good to post it?

Right then, here we go.
1. Cream & Cheese make a good Ventriliquist & Scarface, because, though officially Cream is so cute it makes players and viewers puke, Cream & Cheese are often depicted as the most insane, troubled, and creepiest of the characters.
2. Tails Doll is the Scarecrow because Tails Doll is really the only horror-based and fear-inducing villain of the franchise. Also, they are both made of fabric, and the original Scarecrow design wasn't exactly "scary", in fact, it reminded me of Jack Skellignton or something similar from the mind of Tim Burton.
3. Lord Ix is Ra'as Al Guhl because they are both more olden (in fact, I haven't played chronicles, but I have deduced that Ix may be centuries old, and Batman often did a lot more "ghost stories" with Ra'as than anyone else) and have a cult under their command. True, Espio is good with the whole ninja stuff, but he doesn't have a bunch of ninja minions!
4. I don't know much about the character known as Zonic, except that he may have gone through some misery and has a robotic suit and that emotions are not his forte. Therefore, Zonic=Mr. Freeze!
5. Scourge is Man Bat because he is a Sonic Doppleganger and is organic. Plus, I have other plans for Metal.

6. H.A.R.V.A.C. is a computer program who tried to replace all of Gotham, as well as the world, with machines called duplicants. I think Dark Oak of the Metarex will suffice (note that I think Sonic X sucks balls, I'm just using what comes to mind), because, even though they tried to replace ALL life (including machine) with botanic life, I always thought of them as terminator-like villains. Therefore, Dark Oak=Harvac.
7. In its moments before the destruction of its main factory brain, H.A.R.V.A.C. created a Batman duplicant that was to restore H.A.R.V.A.C. It awakened thinking it was Batman, then thought it was Batman in a duplicant body, then leanrned the truth and nearly ressurected H.A.R.V.A.C. in one of the most powerful supercomputers, Batman's, but was revealed to be such a good copy that it somewhat had a soul and was distraught when it thought it killed Batman and when it realized it was putting its city in danger and died destroying H.A.R.V.A.C. Thusly, it was a robotic faker built for destruction but instead sacrificed its own life for the greater good, much like Metal Sonic *wink wink nudge nudge*.
8. Rupert Thorn is a real bastard of a mob boss in the animated series who shows up in many episodes (in fact, he was behind Two-Face's origin). I don't know much about Mammoth Mogul except that he appears to be a mob boss, so I make him Thorn.
9. The Creeper was originally a news reporter, but while he was at Axis Chemical Plant doing a story on Joker's origin, the man of smiles himself shows up and pushes him into the vat while he was under the influence of laughing gas. Then the Creeper was born. Though he was a good guy, he was even crazier than the Joker (so much to the point that the Joker BEGGED to be arressted!), because though the Joker kept on track when he spoke, Creeper often just babbled and you'd never know when he was serious. He was also lovesick with Harley, even though she tried to kill him on several occassions. I would nominate NiGHTS' enemy, Reala (that's how you spell his name right?), for this role. I would love to explain my reasoning, but I've got stuff to do so, ta.

Vector would be great for Killer Croc I believe. As for the rest, I'm kinda clueless. Maybe you could use comic/cartoon peeps and have Snively as the Scarecrow.

I am not 100 percent familiar with the comic characters. I missed way too many issues in my time. ( Hopefully this "Sonic Archives business" will continue on and not stop. That's what I want anyways. It's really helping me out with comic info. )
Anyhow I considered using Naugus for the scarecrow, or maybe one of those freaky echidnas, but Naugus just didn't fit, and I knew very little about any of the Knuckles story characters.
....Now that I think about it, Mammoth Mogul would have been the perfect Ra's Al Ghul...
And If I were to use Snively, I'd probably make him Arnold Wesker/The Ventrelaquist, and his puppet would be SatAM Robotnik in place of scarface.... AUGH! Why couldn't I think of that when I was drawing this picture, that sounds awesome! ...curse my mentality of always keeping only the game characters in mind.

Pretty neat idea, I like this. I have a few suggestions -
Fang as Riddler, Blaze as Poison Ivy, Bark as Bane, Silver as Mr. Freeze, Dictator Battlekukku as Penguin, Sally as Ellen Yin and Knuckles as Detective Bullock.

Actually, I am re-working this idea a little.
Instead of just Sonic characters, I am making it general video game characters.
I am still having trouble casting everyone though... But I only need a small hand full of villains.
I already have Pokey/Porky Minch and Giygas as The Joker and Harley Quinn, Ganondorf as Ra's Al Ghul, Dr. Robotnik as Mr. Freeze, King Dedede as the Penguin, and Mewtwo as Two face.
I just need a few more villains, but its a bit hard to find a good match for everyone.
