It's probably because you drew the legs really... "natural", you know, with the things on the knees and the hooves and stuff.
(Wow that sounded weird, forgive me, I'm tired and English isn't my best language...)
I loved the comic, I have never seen one with a Moai statue before. (Those things apparently have bodies by the way, imagine poor Sweetie having to pull a WHOLE statue like that...)

Yes! It's in reference to the movie Night At The Museum. In it, there's a moai statue that keeps saying "dumb dumb" all the time.

There might have been pictures of the CMC trying everything at once before,
but I don't think I have ever seen it being done this colourful and chaotic before
I also really like you art style, because it's rather unique and shows our renowned equines
in a new light and even though I normally don't like monochrome eyes and angular shapes as part of the body,
you make those elements work out somehow, with the different hues in their eyes and the way
you do their tails and manes (I especially like Sweetie Belle's 
Besides that, I believe that the fact, that you can't see their mouths most of the time contributes to you style too.

For me the funniest part, about this style, is that people comment as much about the style as the content of the comics. I have a bunch of styles and this one is the one which gets most comments about itself rather than what the piece is about. And that's not a bad thing, rather it's amusing.
